Building a webshop and integrating it with an existing business system resulted in increased sales and effortless administration.
Challenge
ColourHouse AB offers professional tools for design and product development. Our relationship with ColourHouse stretches all the way back to 1996, and over the years, we have worked together on a variety of projects: websites, web design, newsletters and system solutions. One major assignment was to create an e-commerce platform – one that would increase sales and streamline the company’s administrative work.
Solution
Skapa developed a webshop with a neat design and an easily navigable structure. The webshop, built with nopCommerce, was integrated with ColourHouse’s business system. This means that when a product is added to the business system, it is also added to the webshop inventory. Photos of, and additional information about, the product can be added before it becomes available in the webshop. The integration also ensures that when an order is placed in the webshop, it is automatically entered into the business system. Prices that are updated in the business system are automatically updated in the webshop as well.
Result
ColourHouse’s webshop significantly increased the company’s online sales. Customers can browse the store inventory and place orders with ease. Sales, site traffic and other key statistics are thoroughly presented in Google Analytics, which makes for convenient e-commerce tracking and efficient administration.
