Floor tile comparison and ordering made easy
EurogolvTerrazzo.se allows customers to easily compare different terrazzo and natural stone floor tiles according to a variety of product parameters.

Eurogolv Terrazzo wanted a website that showed the complexity of their product, while at the same time allowing the customer to order with ease and confidence. Skapa’s solution was to create a clear, informative website and a multifaceted search function tool that enables elaborate result filtration and product comparison.

Challenge

Eurogolv Terrazzo offers terrazzo floors for public spaces as well as offices, stores and other work environments: floors that need to be beautiful, durable, and easy to clean. The company’s CEO contacted Skapa when Eurogolv Terrazzo needed a new website, aimed toward the business-to-business market segment.

The new website should show the company's knowledge and products in a clear and attractive way. Key to this was the ability for customers to compare different floor tiles – their materials, properties, colours, formats, etcetera – and to make this comparison as clear as possible. The website needed to be inspiring and visually appealing, especially to architects, but also show the benefits and characteristics of terrazzo and natural stone floors.

The company also wanted to become more visible on the important Norwegian market, and have the new site translated into Norwegian.

Solution

Browsing a flooring manufacturer’s or distributor’s product catalog online is rarely a problem. However, very few of them have a product comparison function built into their searchable catalogs or inventories. This even though many customers want to be able to compare different floor tiles, based on a number of parameters.

Skapa developed a combined search and comparison function, where the user can easily filter and consider different products in Eurogolv’s terrazzo range. In addition to providing a more complete picture of these products, this function makes it easier for the customer to make an informed choice.

Eurogolv’s site includes several customized features, but is primarily built in WordPress and Beaver Builder. The site is therefore easily indexed by Google, and Eurogolv Terrazzo's employees can easily edit the site and its subpages, as well as add new pages, videos, images and written content when needed.

Skapa employed a translation agency to ensure that the site’s written content was correctly translated into Norwegian. Google Ads were made to increase the company's online visibility, particularly toward the Norwegian market.

Result

Since the website was launched at the end of 2022, Eurogolv Terrazzo has experienced increased interest from the market, not least from Norwegian customers. The page is stylish and user-friendly, with a search function that not only facilitates sales but also the customer’s ability to choose the most suitable product. The customer can make an informed choice – based on many and complex parameters, but in a simple and straightforward way.
